Try it with another homebrew first.
put files on it with your computers, and try to mount it in Wiixplorer on your Wii to see if it can list the files.

if you can list files, maybe you could put the game manually on it (format to NTFS instead of FAT32 if you have the ISO instead of wbfs)
and place the game manually here:

usb:/wbfs/Resident Evil Archives Resident Evil Zero [RBHP08]/RBHP08.wbfs
or
usb:/wbfs/Resident Evil Archives Resident Evil Zero [RBHP08]/RBHP08.iso

If it doesn't work, you'll have to use another device.
You can even try MP3 players, SD Card adapters, etc.
anything with a USB and FAT32.

yes, you can try to rip any Wii retail disc using USBLoaderGX. insert the disc while in the loader and choose "install game".
it will store the wbfs directly in the correct place/filename, and it will be split in two files if needed (Smash bros is a Dual layer, so it will be split).

but that would mean the USB is fine?

So when I try to install a game to that USB. It freezes on 1%. The time doesn't move and it doesn't rip. But when I plug it into a computer and check, it makes a folder for wbfs and the game but it doesn't have the disc info.

It works fine with my other USB though.

I'll tell you the same as before, cause that is the cause.

1) Wrongly formatted USB stick.
2) Bad ISO (like the one of RE0 you had).
It has been repeated so many times, look at the previous post. We' re going circles here.

I wanna help you out but if i am forced to say the same things over and over and over, i cannot do this, sorry.
1. Download a good ISO (either a small one like NSMBros for test or the correct RE0). Already given detailed instructions.
2. Correctly format your USB stick (FAT32, primary, active, 32K clusters). Already given detailed instructions.
3. Correctly use Wii Backup Manager (read Cyan's post for this).

Or the USB is not compatible, that's all.
use your other USB, the working one.

It worked before, I think I may have fried it. The problem is the other USB is only a 2 GB

/edit

I got it now as a WFBS, bout to try an manully put it on the USB to see if the USB would work. If not will try another device.

/edit 2

Fixed USB.
Followed instructions, even using new file, loaded up USB loader, clicked the game, andddd black screen.

Mod God hate me.

What the eff am I doing wrong?

I UPDATED MY cISO and it is working!!!!!!!!!

It is stopping every few seconds, like a video does when buffering, BUT ITS WORKING THANK YOU GUYS!

/edit

I am shutting down for the night. I have it working. It loads the game, but the video lags or buffers (freezes every now and then) and sometimes the game itself will freeze.

My guess is cause it's running off a USB, and the more I boot it up, the easier itll be on loading. But if yall know a quick fix please enlighten me haha

also, last question.

When I try to Rip Brawl from the Disc, it freezes on 0%. Any clue on that?

Which base did you use for your cIOS?
The fastest base is IOS56
The most compatible with USB devices is IOS58 but it's slower.

I still think the issue is your USB, the cIOS might have issue accessing it (randomly).
It could be why you can't dump the game.

you should invest in a bigger device, it's not that expansive. prefer an external hard drive than a flash USB stick, it will work better.
a small one, like 250GB is enough, you don't need 3TB.

Hey look, Syscheck finally worked right.

okay Cyan, Here is an update. The game (RE:0) is loading, running, and so on. IT freezes during cutscenes and such. I have got it where it doesn't freeze as much when it gets to cutscenes and I have even gotton to gameplay twice. Both times after I leave the first area, it freezes or takes a while to load the short door opening animation, and upon the next room after killing the 3 zombies. The game freezes.

Your syscheck is not useful, it doesn't have all the informations.
The latest version is in my signature "syscheck tutorial".
And please, follow the tutorial to put the report in spoiler. Long posts (for saying nothing) are annoying. thanks.

well if the damn CVS file would show up on my SD card after I run the check, it would be alot easier

without the syscheck, just be sure you installed base56 in slot 249 (it's the fastest base for USB access).
Try a different drive (maybe it's slow).
try a HDD if you are currently using USB Flash drive.

(sorry, I didn't re-read all the thread to check what device you were using).

But if another game works on the usb, wouldnt that mean the USB works fine?

You said it freeze on videos, maybe some videos require more bitrate/access speed?

You can post the picture (on filetrip) with the part showing IOS > 200
but what is interesting is only to know if your slot249 has base56, that's all I need to know.
