A little while while ago my Wii U gamepad screen was damaged. So I proceeded to find a replacement anyway I could. I live in the UAE (which mean I have a Euro console), but I ordered a brand new gamepad from amazon in the USA where I am from. Long story short I did not realise that even nintendo gamepads are region locked!!!! >
Even though my new gamepad is not compatible with my wii U console, .... I don't think all is lost.
I am planning on swapping the LED screens on the two gamepads. Looks a little tedious and requires some unique tools, .... but before I go Dr. Frankenstein on these gamepads, ... does anyone know if this will definitely work? Or does nintendo lock the controller parts TOO!?!?!?!? haha
