Hacking Help: noob jtag info needed asap

BB Jaspers (265 MB Internal MU or 512 MB MU) are the same.
However you could chose to make a 48 MB NAND dump instead of the full 265/512 MB.

I personally would do full dump (to do it right the first time ;p)
It takes longer but but personally, it's better then having a portion of the NAND dumped.

But other then that.. Their exactly the same.
Just R-JTAG/RGH it and you're good to go.

lol, i think i am having a hard time saying yes to my friend due to 2 things

1-dont have the extra money to get the kit
2-his system is non-hdmi, all the TV's here are 32" or bigger and HD

I'm a bit short on cash too. I was thinking about getting my Jasper r-jtag'd, but since I have a PS3 with the latest cfw installed, I can play most of the latest game that the Wii/Wii U cannot play, I'm holding off on the mod for now. Last I heard there was going to be a new hack released for my phat Jasper, haven't heard if it was released yet.

Falcon RGH1 is preffered (nearly insta boot)
RGH2.... Falcon is hard to boot.
Xenon always fails and Zephyr is stubborn on RGH1 and 2.
So get them R-JTAGged.

Slims are good to RGH on both RGH1 and 2.

But yeh, Stay away from Xenon/Zephyrs.
Falcons/Opusses are good if you take good care of them.
The rest are pretty sweet~

Flash memory isnt that big a deal it's really they type of motherboard you have such as Jasper, or Falcon that's what really matters when it comes to modding 360's.

You can always try and getting one of those little adapters they sell to make it HD it's like an AVI to HDMI converter.
I'm not sure if theyre are any good though?

Yeah they're a little more expensive but if you can get one go ahead they make the consoles boot faster than a regular RGH.

No, for Jaspers you got 3 ways of dumping it.
1. 16MB dump for SB Jaspers
2. 48MB dump for BB Jaspers
3. Full dump for BB Jaspers.

In the end it doesn't matter much but it comes down to what you want to get dumped.
I strongly prefer full dumps (can't corrupt when reflashing)

i do not fully trust something like that, i have messed with TONS of converters and adapters for so many PC, Gaming & music tools its not funny lol

i've learned converters and adapters for TV's and/or HD stuff you really need to know what works and what "seems" like it works


anyways, i have posted on ebay, also i have re-posted on craigslist with a price tag or trade offer for my ps3

250 is pretty okays.
300 is extremely steep.
Since one can get a old Phat for like 100 and a E3 for 90 ;p

I didn't get what any of that meant what I was talking about was how the Flash Memory has no relation to the Hack/Mod itself it comes down to the type of Motherboard you have.

Shouldn't really be giving people advice if you only know of JTAG/RGH ;p

But the Jaspers are divided by 2 devisions.
Small block (16MB) and Big block (256/512MB)

It does impact on how you dump the NAND.
Hack it self is the same.
Although in me own experiences, BB jaspers are easier to glitch then SB's.

what do yall think??, would i be able to do anything to it for what i would like. play Games, DLC, & XBLA?

You would need to RGH same as any other slim for DLC & XBLA. Not sure I'd make the trade. I'd be looking to trade for one that is already RGH'd. Not like there is a shortage of them and less effort. Make that trade and you've still got to buy the stuff/Pay someone else to RGH it for you.
