Opus is a redesigned Falcon, made to fit in Xenon chassis that came to MS for RROD repair.

Opus is rare yes.
They where only available from MS when a Xenon got repaired.

Falcons are pretty good when it comes to boot times and don't really ever RROD but people told me the Jasper which is newer has horrible boot times but next to never RROD

When RGH or JTAGing

Falcon only has good boot times on RGH1.
RGH2 is a disaster.

Japsers/Kronosses are pretty okay with RGH1 and 2, they just need a small 20pf cap between the CPU_RST wire.

JTAG is always instaboot, RGH is slowing down the CPU and resetting it so it thinks the 2nd bootloader is valid.

Kronos is an updated version of a Jasper.
Xenon style GPU and some minor changes.

And no, JTAG's are mostly Xenon/Zephyr consoles, Falcons also and Jaspers (rare)
Iirc, the Kronos came with a patched CB making it un-JTAGgable.

Thank you all for the info, i did some looking and the price for a R-JTAG is about $65-$70, im now trying to find someone around here that can or will do it cheaper than that

the only things that have me thinking..... is the fact that it does not have HCMI, and if the R-JTAG will play DLC and so-on

Yes, R-JTAG/RGH/JTAG is all the same, the hack is different but they achieve the same goal.
DLC, XBLA, XBLindie, Xbox 1 Xbox 360, Homebrew, Emulators etc.

Cool!, im low on cash and all i really have that i am will to trade is a Jailbroken PS3 with a Upgraded 250gb hdd

Yeah jailbroken PS3s are really hard to find there worth a pretty good bit too so you could probably get a slim Dual Nand with RGH in exchange for the PS3 and drive but like DinohScene said I would keep the PS3. Ohh and from what I know R-JTAG boot a little faster than RGH but thats just what I've heard.

I'm more of a Xbox gamer, and my girl wants more DLC stuff for working out on the Kinect plus more games that we can do together, i love the kinect

we just do not have the extra money to get everything lol

Actually no, Grab any Phatty PS3 or the older Slim PS3s and a E3 flasher.
Downgrade and done.

but no one has got to me, i know that the system is worth something, but alot of ppl just don't want this for some reason, it even plays PS2 games no prob., like i said i just want a 360 that can be modded lol
