Hacking help for cyclo DS

Sorry i am totally new to this. I have seen some examples on Youtube concerning putting nds roms on r4 ds and cyclo ds

I have several questions concerning r4 ds and cyclo ds.

What is the difference between those two?

Do I just download a rom, place it into the micro sd, and run it via nintendo ds?

Last of all, I live in Eastern US, where do i order r4 ds or cyclo ds??

I just do not know which one to buy.... All i need it for it to do is play roms that i have downloaded. thank you.

DO NOT BUY R4 its really old and doesn't get updated I have a cyclods because its best one right now it's the most expensive one but since you get free games it saves you over $200 or more it also has the most features but other than cyclods they mostly have all the same functions. On most carts you just download the rom, but it in the microsd the cart, start the ds, pick the game, if you want cheats, and play

Yep no support for it and many clones i got mine at dealwoot.com free screen protecter and know screen cleaner free shipping and fast too it's located in California
i got in 3 days and i live on the east coast but if you don't want to pay 40+ for it acekard is a good alternative

No you dont have to buy a slot 2 there used for playing gba games on ds but the best plays gba games lets you use the ds browser and works as a rumble pack its called the EZ Flash 3-in-1 but if your looking for a cheap flash cart i recommend the acekard 2 on the same site ti's only $12 the EZ flash 3-in-1 is also there to and i got an 8gb microsd card for $20 tell me if you want the link

Yes, it's really good. I'm very happy with mine

You only need a slot 2 if you want to play GBA games, use the RAM for the Nintendo browser and/or the rumble. If I were you I would pass on a slot 2.

cosign i just got my cyclo today from dealwoot.com took about three days and it was 47 with free shipping

1. Cyclo offers some more capabilities than r4 (slo-mo, save)
2. You can choose where to put all your stuff. You can dump it in the root, or organize (organize works better)
3. Hottstuff
4. I like cyclo, but its a lil more pricey. If you want bang for your buck, get Cyclo, but if you want cheap simplicity just use r4.
