Hacking Help customizing Ocarina codes for on-rail shooters

So, I've got this new generic 'Wii Pistol' that uses the Z button as trigger and I want to play some on-rails shooters with it. But only Ghost Squad will allow the use of such button as the trigger.

I've downloaded the cheat codes trough the USB Loader Ocarina, but none of them swaps B for Z in games like House of The Dead Overkill, Resident Evil Darkside or Dead Space. So I'm thinking about making my own codes - or see if any of you guys has this solution already.

That's the pistol model...

I bought it in a sale but I've never thought that the buttons configuration would be so limited in the majority of games available on Wii.

So, you have some interesting design going on this accessory, but you can't take full advantage of that because of the lack of control options in the games. I'm being forced to use the B button as the trigger, and it doesn't help with the aiming. It's uncomfortable.

I already own a Zapper, but the thing is just so big, heavy and clunky that it hurts my hands.
