i think my friend has part bricked his wii.when he tries to the more recent games he keeps getting error #001 unauthorized device has been detected .earlier games do still play. all the games that wont play will play fine on my sons wii. both wiis have wiid chip and all the same firmware the only difference is that he does not have internet and yes i did put updates on it for him but after this problem started can any1 help please thanks

    Check for any temp throttling with software before poking around inside it depending on age might be good practices to do it anyway

    oh god my unnecessarily complex virtualized desktop PC setup broke and now I seemingly need to shrink my data partition, create an EFI partition, and convert the disk from MBR to GPT.

    Dumb Linux file system thing with batocera it locked the roms folder to a specific format where plasma wouldn't read it
