Hello.:)

Please,I need your Help, fellow PlayStation Profis.

Unfortunately I can not install these NTSC Games

Neither the Game Disc or the ISO can not be installed with HDL Dump (Helper GUI).

I got this Error Message:

There may be a name conflict. Try renaming them '1.iso', '2.iso', '3.iso', etc.

Thank you.:)

I tried it and it works for

Karaoke Revolution Volume 3 --> Karaoke Revolution 3. :yay:

Unfortunately still not for
- Karaoke Revolution American Idol --> 1.iso/Game.iso/Karaoke RAI.iso and so on.......
- Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2 ----> same

Very strange issue.....
Only for this 2 Games.

HDL Dump Helper GUI uses outdated versions of HDL Dump. The most recent is 0.9.2 but requires an extra UDMA parameter that is not present in the older versions. So I would imagine that simply renaming the newer version to match the name of the older version(s) would not work (but I have never tried).

Version 0.9.2 makes use of game ID's in the partition name, so you never have naming conflicts such as yours. Take extra care and avoid using Winhiip's repair feature as it will destroy pretty much all the games you have that have almost the same names (e.g. Rock Band - Track Pack Vol. 1, Rock Band - Track Pack - Country, etc.) and stupidly merge them by overwriting one with another.

Lastly, just because HDL Dump Helper GUI did not complain about the filenames does not mean it necessarily installed it correctly due to the naming conflicts. It would be a good idea to check your hdl_toc and toc. (I.e. run hdl_dump toc hdd1: and hdl_dump hdl_toc hdd1: and check for anything out of the ordinary.)

Run the install command directly in a command prompt with admin rights to see the error message.

Yes that seems that was the Issue.
And with Version 0.90 is seems the Install from CD/DVD is a lot faster too.

It remained on these 3 Games, no more Issues.

Thank you for your Help.:)

Hello.:)

I noticed my Issue now on many other Games. And after renaming/shorten the Name the Installation works.:)
And now I got this wonderful SATA USB 3.0 Adapter from UGreen and the Installation Process is now really faster too.

Thank you.:)
