I have reading many threads about Upload speeds with the Sony HDD Adapters and the Upload Speed with FTP is NOT great at all.
I see about 40-50 kb/sec. is the average one.
I use FileZilla v3.43.0 and Windows 7 Pro 32bit.The PlayStation 2 and PC are connected directly.With a Router it is not possible for spatial reason.
If I set it higher than 15-18 Kb/sec. then the PlayStation 2 freezes on LaunchELF 4.43a (in the meantime I have tried many Versions of (u)LaunchELF,no change).
To compare it with HDL Dump Helper GUI v2.3 and hdld_svr 0.8.6 it installs with up to ~ 2 Mb/sec (Because of this is an other protocol and Tool ?).
My first thought was the Network CABLE but why then the higher Rate on HDL Dump ? But I changed it and still the same issue.
