hgb sucks but I've got to hand it to them, this works pretty well. Not sure what all the commotion was about because the place I get my games from is still up and running just fine.

The commotion is that the team that was behind dumping all those games, quit because of them. Also, their shop isn't even an original idea. It has been used among smaller groups for months now, who have half of the brain not to mess with Nintendo and go public.

Wonderful to see this was made, I'll make great use of it, sucks we have to shadow support programs like this which are avenues for Piracy.

Guess that's really the legal systems fault, after-all you can talk about it, and that you can google/youtube it, but the second you link it, or a commentor one the website host will be hounded by lawyers until sued beyond imagination, or a DMCA. It's as if just not linking it really prevents people from obtaining it... Yet another reason our legal system is useless in regards to the Internet ecosystem.

I honestly thought "temporary outage" was code for "you've been Reggie'd" - but they're just over discord's limit for number of active users at once.

Still working perfectly fine. I think this is a pre-emptive strike at TX Stargate, with Freeshop, who wants to pay a subscription fee for games?

An auto update would be nice, I just have the channel on my switch for decoration, by the time I need to update or get anything, I’ll have to just get it the old fashion way and install the cool way, usb install.

I would prefer a way to download updates on Windows, cuz the wifi at home isn't great and I meet too much "download error" on this tinfoil app
I guess for now I'll have to do this manually

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
