There is no difference between the HBL 1.4 and 2.0 when it comes to features, the only difference is that the .elf loads via haxchi/browser exploit and the .rpx loads via its own system channel when signature patches are disabled. Both versions can load both .elf and .rpx files just fine after that, no need for anything like loadiine or whatever.

Thank you so much for clarification, and thank you yet again for your astounding contributions to every scene you turn your hand to.

You are a legend!

Anyone done a video of what the haxchi channel looks like? I got the Homebrew icons from digiex but I don't think i have actually ever see the haxchi ones? I might like to change....anyone got 'em? I already got haxchi installed so I just need to re-up the images rather than install again.

I was just thinking how cool it would be if haxchi installer had its own homebrew launcher app and bam its done this is really cool. So can i use this to update just the rom.zip i allready have everything else installed?

Shit, I just have 3 dollars on the eshop. Well, apart from that, I want to ask if this is 100% secure and that I wont brick my wii u.

If I already have an old version of Haxchi installed, can I just run this on top of it? Or do I need to delete/re-download my DS VC game first and then re-install? Sorry if this question has been answered before, I just can't find a concrete answer.

Possible to add:
- install meta.xml
- store multiple meta folder on sd (sd:/haxchi/10179C00/, sd:/haxchi/10198A00/, ...)
- install to usb if game is located on usb

thx for all your hard work @FIX94

nice job..

can't wait until we see an easy way to install ColdBootHax like this via HBL or something similar ...

I just installed it over eur yoshi's island, 1 minute easy install. It boots fine homebrew channel and wupinstaller and loadiine work without any issues. I don't have my fw.img so I can't comment about it yet.

Freaking amazing! Thanks a lot for this new version!
Could the Haxchi installer be used to like inject rom.zip images to other Virtual Console titles?
I have DK64 and I want to give Resident Evil 2 a try, I would think I only need to replace the following files:
  • rom.zip with the new ROM.
  • INI file for the new ROM's settings.
  • meta folder.
Of course, I would first backup the original files in case something goes wrong, but I'd like to know if someone has already tried that yet. :P

Is there any hope that one day we'll be able to install it without having to purshase a DS VC game ? With a demo or another exploit perhaps ?

Thanks.
