Hacking Haven't turned on my 3DS in years... Need help. [Samus Returns]

Hey Guys,

Okay so, I'm wanting to play Samus Returns. I have my Old3DS here with my Gateway3DS, and I have FW Ver. 9.0.0-20E.
I boot Gateway mode through the browser (go.gateway-3ds.com) and it boots fine and all. Press select, pick Samus Returns... Boot game... Endless loading screen.
What do I do here guys, I'm behind the times here with the 3DS hacking/homebrew/flashcart scene.

Quickest way:

• Update to the latest launcher.dat
• Get a Yoshi's Wooly World rom
• Take out Gateway cartridge and boot into Gateway mode like you normally would, only this time the menu will appear
• Put cartridge back in
• Go to "boot Gateway mode" or similar
• Hold Up on the D-pad while selecting that option
• Try to play Yoshi, it will update you to 11.2
• Now you can play Metroid

The better way:

• Follow https://gbatemp.net/threads/importing-gateway-saves-to-cia-games.425743/ to backup your save games
• Follow https://3ds.guide on your sysNAND
• Import your save files to installed versions (use freeShop to install games)
• Enjoy no longer needing Gateway, and have CFW on boot up without having to do anything extra

I did the Wool World rom method and it worked perfectly (just make sure you use a rom which is the same region as your 3ds.)
