Have any of you tried wad manager 1.5 yet and can any of you understand how to get the nand emulation part of this to work??

I tried with 2 different nand backups and from 1gb Micro Sd, 2gb sd card and from usb Hdd and it would mount the nand off the hdd and the 2gb and then asks you to select source for your wads.

If I mount nand of sd and try and select sd as source you just get error ret=-1 if I select hdd for source it loads the wads I have on my hdd but if I try to install any of them it just returns me another error (can't remember the code will post later)

the same happens if i mount the nand on the hdd

have made fresh backups of the nand from 2 different Wii's and it does the same thing with both

In the readme it specifies you must have the entire NAND filesystem extracted with the directory structure in the root of the FAT device

----FROM THE README----
[ NOTES ]:

- To use the NAND emulation is necessary to have a COMPLETE copy
of the NAND filesystem in the root of the FAT device.

cIOS REV14 ONLY GIVES THE ABILITY TO DO NAND EMULATION, BUT IT WILL NOT WORK UNTIL WANINKOKO RELEASES THE NAND EMULATOR IN SEPTEMBER.

Now, stop asking.

I agree. Still, one can try to prep their card. I know I was going to FSDump and see what happens later.

Sorry i think your posting in the wrong thread, noone here mentioned nand Emulation. This is simply setting everything up, for the wad Manager to install wads to your Nand FS on your Usb. Which works pretty good. I'm setting my Custom Nand up for when the Nand loader does get released.

Knowing Wanin he will use a proprietary format.

I would try it if there was a reason for me to. Why should I try it out if there isn't even a nand loader to use it with yet?

In other words, you have to decrypt the NAND?

make a nand dump with FStoolbox to get a complete filesystem copy.

have a look here :

Enough evidence?
