Hacking Has the format option ever helped anyone at all?

I've only heard horror stories of those unable to reinstall the HBC and such as a result of reformatting. Has this ever helped anyone? If not, why do people do it and why do others suggest that they reformat?

its a step towards totally cleaning off your wii for anyone who wants to remove all changes and start 'fresh'


but using anytitle deleter and a wadmanager is also important.
