I havent done this one in particular, but I have done fairly well all SNES/NES RPG's that have an english fan translation. There is no problem doing this, the main concern is if you do a custom banner 00000000.app file as the wii loads these (icons) on boot if it contains an error you get your 'banner brick'

I believe Animal Forest was translated and uploaded to a .wad. Just search around for it.
