Yes it did. It worked on every version of the System software that existed when the exploit was released, which is the context in which that comment was made. Of course it didn't work on future System Menus when Nintendo patched it, and that'll be the case here too.
they didn't patched it at all
they just delete the save file.

big difference

EDIT: but since the latest twilight princess versions still have the bug afaik; and since nintendo can't patch games using ios or anything except the game itself you could say they patched it...
I know they didn't patch it but I don't want to confuse the noobs.

Damn it, now were gonna see a Hannah Montana 2 because the developers are gonna think they made an awesome game with the surge of sales from this exploit
Yes, but it will be a rushed cash cow sequel, with plenty of holes to exploit.

Hmm...if that's sarcasm, it kinda fails on me.

I'd gladly pay another 5 bucks to get an exploit for gingerbread ninja (or another crappy game). The thrill that a whole bunch of "hackers" will be out buying crappy games tickles my sadistic sense of humor.

Maybe he went to his local store and bought the cheapest game he found. Or what is important to you on an exploit game?

I'd include the "the movie" part in the name. You don't want to raise confusion about which crappy game to buy, right?

I vote for HMMH (Hannah-Montana-Movie-Hack). It's fun to come up with names that mingle 'Hannah', 'Montana' and/or 'hack' (oooh! Hacknah Montana roflolzorzz!!!!), but the fun wears off when you have to point out dozens of newbies that they REALLY need the "the movie" game.
