Care to develop? Can we reach the SNES through FTP without hakchi running?
Unfortunately I tested it but without success, no connection via hakchi2 ftp after patching with madmonkey's hakchi. If you can tell me what is the exec for the ftp server i will try to add it and test.

Dosbox works fine with keyboard support ! I launched Windows 3.1 and it worked fine with audio and imputs ! Genesis emulator works fine (genesis plus gx). I installed all other standard modules but no time to test them yet.

Tested also the "NES mini switch" but without success (maybe I forgot to add the module when patching with hakchi2, I honestly don't remember).
Oh very cool! I'm hoping I can do some hardcore testing the next couple days. Really want to get into PS1 and Saturn stuff.

I have no idea. Contact MadMonkey or DanTheMan827, maybe they have an idea. If you learn something, I'd like to know aswell! I'd love to "add wifi" to my snes.

I think I can manage the problem myself but really no time those days; if i will find a suitable solution, mainly for the ftp problem, i will notify here.

Sorry one more question, in what format did you add your dosbox game and was there anything else special you had to do to get it to run besides using the dosbox module?

Dodbox games are in an uncompressed format (files/folders), then you need to point the path in the .desktop file to tge main dos .exe.

This is the same even if you are using hakchi2.

Would it be possible to run Brutal Doom on Snes classic ? And if i understood correctly you can use PS4 controller with that one 8bitdo mod?
This surely is getting interesting!

Hi tempers,
I have a USB OTG with power adapter coming tomorrow, but in the meantime, made myself a cable from other leads.
I followed the following diagram but didn't use the 100k resistor or connect Sense/ID to anything (for now)
The SNES Classic powers on once it was flashed with USB mod... I have a boot screen which is different so all looks good.
BUT Although the USB drive (FAT32) is plugged in with a single game on it, nothing is appearing in the menu except the built in games.

USB : /hakchi/games/CLV-U-WBAXQ/ <the usual 4 files with .desktop edited)
USB : /hakchi/saves/ <empty for now>

.desktop contents:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /var/games/CLV-U-WBAXQ/Super_R-Type.sfrom.7z --volume 100 -rollback-snapshot-period 600
Path=/var/saves/CLV-U-WBAXQ
Name=Super R-Type
Icon=/var/games/CLV-U-WBAXQ/CLV-U-WBAXQ.png

Any ideas if i am doing something wrong - or maybe my "make do" cable is not right?

So what are you trying to accomplish? Explain a bit, please. I'm very curious. :)

So if a keyboard works then a mouse should work right?

if a mouse works then we can Mario paint and duck hunt... with retroarch of course.

Anyone with an answer on this?

I have a question about the extra space mod built into hakchi, What will happen when my SAVES grow larger than the space on that previously "unused part of the hard drive"? Will they begin saving back in the other portion again? Or just error out? Come to think of it, I guess from the readme I don't know how it works to begin with, does it actually make that the new save location (either until full, or permanently) or does it just move saves that already exist over there and then continue to save as normal?

Also, new question....people are talking about changing the preset ID of Clock Tower to make it work (among other games) Anyone able to walk me through how to change these? I know it has something to do with the footer, but beyond that I'm lost.

Thanks in advance!

I've been apply this mod to several different SNESC consoles now for friends/family/etc, some with different versions of modules, emulators, etc.

When I plug another SNESC to change games, or update things, should I re-Flash the Custom kernal again?
Do I need to go through and delete all the games from the Select games list and start over again if I want to add different games to various SNES consoles?

How do you guys keep track of this and what's the cleanest way to update another already flashed SNES console? Start fresh or?

anyone noticed any graphical glitches in Mario RPG? I've had a few places where sprites would actually cause some lines of different sprites to "flicker" or go completely invisible.

If I remember well it was in booster tower, or in any fight with many opponents... I can't remember if the game was always like that or if it's only the snes classic version doing that or something in hakchi... thanks in advance guys!
