If we can root an Android device or edit the .apk and inject an exploit what are the chances of it actually hacking the Switch Console remotely? Would we one day be able to hack the Switch without even touching....the Switch?
That will never happen. There's no way to inject code through the voice chat app.If we can root an Android device or edit the .apk and inject an exploit what are the chances of it actually hacking the Switch Console remotely? Neither of those apps communicate with the Switch directly, only the servers AFAIK, and very little data is sent back to the Switch from either of them. So the chances are slim.If we can root an Android device or edit the .apk and inject an exploit what are the chances of it actually hacking the Switch Console remotely? How would it interface directly with the Switch while still connected to your home wifi network?...That makes sense. Even if we successfully injected an exploit into the app it wouldnt even make its way through the servers. All this time I was under the impression that it was a direct connection. The Switch Online app has little to no lag so I thought that.
The same way the New 3DS could connect to a computer wirelessly. How would it interface directly with the Switch while still connected to your home wifi network?...
That wouldn't be necessary, would it?Nintendo Engineer: "Let's put the code that runs on the switch in the APK that runs on the phone!"
Except that requires a file transfer programThe same way the New 3DS could connect to a computer wirelessly.
In all seriousness, no. There could still be a crash maybe on the data sent to the switch, but im 99.9% sure that they thought about that when coding it, and made it so the switch would correctly handle it, or safely crash. That wouldn't be necessary, would it?

I didn't mean exactly the same way. But the phone transfers data (such as playing times in Par Con app) to the Switch, so there is a pathway.Except that requires a file transfer program
