Hacking gw 2.7 all cia will no longer install

reformatting the emunand fixed it and I can install .cia again. Thanks alot people!!

EDIT: To people who had the same problem, reformatting emunand causes you to have to set back up eshop, SD card saved game gimmicks dont carry over (persona Q map data), and all eshop purchases dont transfer over so small price I suppose. (persona q map data sucks but being in the final dungeon its not a HUGE problem)

Did you not back up your Emunand prior to the update? Or did re-injecting your back-up not fix the cia install problem. Because if you do have a back-up, I'm pretty sure you can get the e-shop purchases back.

I had both a backup and an old version of emunand running fw 9.2 however the error still persisted where I got an error on installing .cia, I couldnt even install bigbluemenu to my homescreen. I have two SD cards, one with the formatted emunand with working .cia installs and the other SD card that still has the errors. I can send over my emunand if people had a spare SD card and wanted to see the error for themselves (i dont know if thats actually possible on different 3DS, just a suggestion)

Me and .cia have always been at war with each other, if you look at every threads i've ever posted its always about .cia f'cking up for me and I never understood why. I always follow all the steps, unlinked sysnand and emunand, made sure there was adequate space on my SD card but I always get something corrupted eventually when i turn back on the 3DS so i think ill just stick to dlcs and just play games off gateway

I just realized my broken SD card (the one that fails at installing .cia files) can install dlcs even though it says it failed. Once it says it failed I leave titlemanager and go back in and I see it has been installed and the games can read it. games do the same thing but dont show up on the homescreen though, i guess cause the 3ds didnt make a song and dance about it by wrapping the game and letting me unwrap it. Soooooooo yea, any idea peoples lol.

I then reformatted it again and left the emunand on 4.4, and wouldn't you know it, all the cia's now install fine, even Super Smash Bros. The I updated the same emunand to 9.4, and boom, cia's don't install again (the ones installed while on 4.4 remain). I feel like I've tried all the options, not sure what to try next.

Try changing to a new SD card and making a new emunand from that. I used a microSD and adapter, remade a new emunand (did not inject an old one) and unlinked emunand and sysnand and it has been working ever since.
