maybe i should download an older version?
I think that is because that clone card probably uses the dstt firmware. Glad to see it works.vyskol said:Using R4 III SDHC, with latest firmware. Getting:
ttpatch.dat
Can't open loader
I've followed the instructions in this thread, including the changes for clones, and am still getting this error.
Thanks,
Vyskol
Edit: I redid the installation, but did not delete ttdldi.dat or ttpatch.dat, contrary to the instructions in step #19. It seems to be working now.

metafox said:great work on the guide. btw, is there no other way to set the brightness level on the nds itself? I'm tired of having to unpluging my sd card
Yeah you can do it on the ds itself. Tap the top-left side of the touch screen. It will cycle between brightness levels. The .ini file method is just to set the default brightness (the brightness it starts with).metafox said:great work on the guide. btw, is there no other way to set the brightness level on the nds itself? bluelaserman said:Use your normal R4-III firmware (3.10 I think). Then run ysmenu.nds, locate M&L:BIS and Hey presto, It should work. Well, It worked for me, I'm using R4-III Upgrade (same as yours I think).

so this is what i do
i follow everything
by copying the whole YSmenu content to the root
then overwriting some of the files with my original firmware and added the extra folders
now inside my folder i have
_system_
game
moonshl
TTmenu
_DS_MENU.DAT 1450KB
_DS_MENU.SYS 4096KB
_DS_MSHL.NSD 487KB
_R4_III.DAT 1764KB
r4dldi.dat 97KB
r4patch.dat 123KB
r4tf.dldi 3KB
ttextract.exe 127KB
TTMENU.DAT 328KB
TTMENU.SYS 4096KB
YSMenu.ini 17KB
YSMEnu.nds 397KB
YSMenu.SAV 512KB
then i turn on my DS
my moonshell will come up
i go to YSMenu.nds
then i launch 3 different version of ML
all cant work
UPDATE: found 1 ML that work so far..

You can set it up in the system files or , just tap the sun image on the top left hand side.

Is it me or does anybody not seen the sun image on the touch screen? Strangely, i don't have the sun image but i can switch between brightness.
