- 4.2U
- error003
- No wod or key (is this required??)
- GameCube controller to get to rescue menu

I've tried all options but nothing works.

1) MarioKart PWNS
- Loading MarioKart fine....but will not install channel. Goes blank when selecting "Install Channel"...i.e. never get to the disc swapping part.

2) Sonic Black Knight - Disc Swap
- Game loads to title screen
- Press home and insert ssbb-pal, second disc just clicks and never spins up

3) Carnival Games - Disc Swap
- Game loads to title screen
- Press home and insert ssbb-pal, second disc just clicks, clicks and never spins...if hitting reset just after swapping disc the returned to 003 error screen

....not a happy camper!

Any clues or suggestions would be most welcome.

PS! When running Swap-Disc-PWNS.bat, is it normal for the dos window to flash briefly and then disappear...i.e. is that is for the .bat file. In other words, both iso are ready for burning at that point??

I downloaded SSBB, but it was Super Smash Brothers Brawl v1.02 NTSC-U.iso
(actually I didn't found working PAL links - the most of the links are DV5 or USA (NTSC))
So may I used it with MarioKart-PWNS (NTSC)? or PAL version is a mandatory?
I have Wii Korean 4.2u error 003

Theres numerous PAL links out there, I don't understand how you can't find one. Its one of the most popular games for the Wii. I can find a 1:1 with a quick google search

You are right, there are many links, (already downloaded 2 files), but after unzipping was found that it is USA and NTSC

, that's why I asked whether can be use NTSC file. I just put to download a new one.

Please provide more info regarding the 'No wod or key' part. Do you mean no modchip? (I'm not sure what the key part means).

You ARE running a burnt copy of Mario Kart I presume? Eg you made an iso using Mario-Kart-PWNS.bat?

When does it go to a white screen exactly? When you're at a screen that says the game will take up 79 blocks? Or in the earlier screen with internet options etc?


- Regarding the .bat flashing. Right click it and edit it with notepad or something similar, and at the end of all the code, add 'pause' (without the apostrophe). This will stop the window from closing allow you to check the status (if it's flashing chances are it isn't working correctly, as the iso creation takes some time).

but after deleting all saved stages in the builder and inserting SD, the system stuck at this point

means nothing happened, no buttons working and in order to release need to power off the box.
looks that problem is related with the SD:

1. This is 1GB SD formatted with FAT
2. After that following directories where created:
/private/wii/app/0SBE/st
3. inside of "st" directory I put file: st_smashStackPK_noSave.bin
4. inside of the root I put "boot.elf" file (from hackmii_installer_v0.8.zip)

what is wrong?

Probably you have the save file in your wii and the file "nosave" won´t work. Use the another file.

An observation about the process. Put your sd card, go to stage builder and delete the wii stages, go back to main title and go to stage builder again. It will load automatically. If you click in SD CHECK (or something like this) the system will freeze.

You have a region mis-match semi brick. You can do one of two things, install the system ios and menu matching your region settings or change your region settings to match your installed system menu. You can run any region changer to view/fix the settings.

USA-ModPack-NTSC-U (with CIOS-PACK.zip of course), because the goal was only to repair and not to change the region and upgrade), and in the end the Priiloader was installed with recommended settings in order to brick protection.

btw for me the PAL is looks more preferably

Use smash stack again, go to HBC and use any region changer to fix it. If you have the USa system, only change the options to NTSC and save. Before this you need to use cios236 installer v5 to use ios236 in ARC.

You can do chapter 2 again, just install your desired system menu files the use arc, then install priiloader. Just follow chapter 2 word for word
