I'm having the same problem as ^, what do we select?
Leave everything set to default settings, just keep pressing A until you get to the list of WADs, and then select your NeoGamma and press A again, and then again to install it. Pretty much keep pressing A until it says Done. =P Nothing to change if you're following the guide and only have the NeoGamma wad on your SD card.

And to the guy that asked about a different Wii-- you may have to get a different file for BannerBomb to load (not exactly sure if you do or which one but a link is in the guide), but the rest are region free-- so yes.

-EDIT 1st Problem Fixed-
2nd Problem:

Now that I click on the WAD and press A to install, I get an error (ret = -2011)
sigh, you didnt use trucha bug restorer correctly! back to step 1.

Cheers for guide bloke! Got my sisters Wii up and running with the homebrew channel, a few emulators and the media player. Your guide saved me loads of searching around for different answers!

Right, all solved, apparently I simply missed two steps of the guide by simply not seeing them. Real easy guide, simple to follow, and all problems solved. Thanks for the guide.

help me anyone,i keep getting error 721 when i use neogamma an i burn games with verbatim dvd-r....help!!!
Have you tried just one disk and gotten this error? Or had it happened on multiple occasions?

ok, i have all of my homebrew up and running on 4.0 as per the guide with Bootmii (boot2), preloader, CIOS rev 14, custom channels, CIOSCORP and backup launchers all installed and working, can i just do the official nintendo update to get to 4.1 and then reinstall everything? (im assuming preloader will have to be as it updates ios 60)

i have a NAND backup but id really rather not have to use it.

No idea. =)

cIOSCorp may or may not like the Nintendo update. Yet another reason everyone advises against it.

I'd imaging you can give it a shot.. if you have bootmii as boot2, just make sure you have a nand backup. Worst that can happen is you waste a few minutes of life.

The Wii I modded the other night using this guide was already on 4.1E and that went smoothly if that's any help.

Thx I'll try when I get home with wanin's updater because that only updates IOS 60 (almost positive) Ill report back with results if anyone else is in my situation.

Do you mean the trucha bug downgrader app? If you do then it worked perfectly fine for the one I did. What? I'm not sure if this is a question since you seem to have answered it yourself..

Brick blocking seems fairly useless to me if you're using PreLoader and NeoGamma. Other region disks work perfectly fine just how they are.

Maybe you could include instructions on how to install a gamecube backup launcher?

^^
I don't use any GameCube games, so I wouldn't feel comfortable writing a guide on something I know absolutely nothing about.

i am getting error 1101 with neogamma 7 dual layer game any ideas
From my Googling, error 1101 seems to mean that you don't have a cIOS installed to 249. Try to install the cIOS again. Make sure it doesn't error out. Have you tried any other games?

I've gone through the whole thread but haven't seen a solid answer as to where I can get the cIOS 249 and junk. I've followed the whole tutorial on the first page, it's not too late to do it right? And could someone show me where to go and how I would go about doing it?

Much appreciated. :x

e/ this is because I'm also getting the 1101 error in NeoGamme R7, in R6 I'm getting 972. It may be my discs(using DVD+RW for now) but I just want to get the cIOS patched up and stuff for future use.
