How is that fair. PSP will now have fudging 3 GTA games and the only one that was specially for DS now is going to be remade for PSP too.
I hate the Nintendo DS, should've gotten a PSP in the first place.

I think GTA CW was one of the few games that was actually made better by the inclusion of the touch screen, and I don't think it will be as good on the PSP because of that.

I agree. Using long annoying minigames in order to make molotov cocktails is so much more fun than just being able to buy molotov cocktails and set shit on fire straight away.

Incredibly old news though.

I figured something like this would happen. I remember posting a topic on how Chinatown Wars DS's sales sucked.

It's still on the DS, so I don't see what's your problem.
I can understand your sentiment about not getting the DS for the PSP on 2005. But now? You must be joking.

Damn, Rockstar must have realized how much suck when into the sales. I hope they bump the graphics up real nice, then I might buy a new PSP.

From reading earlier reports, I think it'll be the same engine as the Stories games. Maybe I'll actually play this version.

who ever said that the GTA CW For the psp will be top down just like the DS? you're forgetting they have other GTA games that are similar to the ps2 series. CW will probobly be that style instead of the birds eye view with touch screen.

I think people are mad because this was touted as the definitive third-party exclusive on DS, and now they are releasing it on PSP.

what is there to be mad about o.O, they should just be happy that it DID come out on the DS, now psp owners can enjoy the game in (most likely) 1st person and better graphics. I did like the game a lot though. but yeah. I hope they implement wifi battles, etc. if they are going to release one for the psp xP

What i'm angry about is that the DS never get's like any good MATURE games. There are like 10 at most. Tbh i don't think Nintendo is even trying to make people interested in the DS, because if you just think about it, the only good feature on the DS is the touch screen. The games mostly suck or are just for kids, the stuff they use to make the DS is just cheap and RAM (and all that other stuff) is much worse than the DS. It is some brainwashing technique Nintendo is using to get buyers or something i have no idea, but they even fail every year at the E3 because they simply do not care.

This was like the FIRST really great mature game and one of the huge plus' was that it was exclusive. Now it will be released on the PSP with much better GFX and will be even better than the DS version.

Also what "grinds my gears" is this Quote from RockStarGames when they talked about GTA:CW on PSP:

"...mature games simply don't sell well on Nintendo's platforms..."

That justs makes less hope for us to ever see another such great game on the DS.

That's only to get people to buy the game, but now it's probably safe to say that the sales (if any) from the DS version don't really matter anymore.
What I wonder is why companies do this when they know they'll get their asses sued by the Big N.

I like the top down chinatown wars style. Vice city stories was fun in like 15 minute bursts. I usually just played it while I was taking a shit.

Haven't tried this game yet but I guess the PSP version uses the analog stick... which is the main reason I don't play with mine anymore D: Ill go get the DS version tomorrow, gettin sleepy.

BTW this should be at the PSP forum

Was just mentioned a couple months ago; its confirmed now i guess. I didn't really like GTA:CW for the DS at all, played the first couple of missions or so, lost interest, never looked back ever since.
