Well i was reading a bit more about GTA - CTW and i found out that it being co developed. It Rockstar North (Basically all the GTA Games) and Rockstat Leeds (Remeber the Awsome engin on Max Payne GBA well they developed it) i got a feeling sin RS Leeds has experiance with making games for handheld systems that they should do a good job with making it playable and with the ppl of RS North i will obviously be True to the GTA style gameplay.

IMO i reli do think the the perspective the game is gunna be in is probably simalar to Max Payne GBA with a Isometric View Point like this:

EDIT: This is Max Payne GBA just in case anyone shits them self thinking its a screen for GTA lol

either 3d or top down, or the best maybe: both like gta III. Transformers had a cheat to switch to topdown mode, so it should be doable much better.

I just hope it will be 3D !

no iso no only top down, just like gta III, since it would be ridiculous to waste the DS's 3D Capabilities with a 2D topdown game. GTA Advance is still fun, but I want something with a new dimension.

i would mind a isometric view for the DS you could push it to it limits and make it have enough of the free roam feel aswell as making it have all the pedestrians and gangs with out major drops in fram rates i mean i would love it to be like GTA3 but remebers where talk DS not PSP if its Isometric with 3d graphis id be more than happy to play it in all honesty

The PSP GTA games were also developed by Rockstar Leeds.. I think we can expect some nice stuff there

Cheat codes really spoil the fun for many wifi games... Dam u action replay

Why not a 3D TopDown game?

3D topdown is a waste of performance.
an example of a game with 3D topdown view: pokemon D/P, it has clear pixels, which deform objects a bit too because not every pixel is carefully judged.
it would only really make sense if it has a switch between 3rd/1st person and topdown.

I hope it IS 3D top down, a la GTA and GTA2, they are the only ones I actually enjoyed, I got so bored when the game went third person.

Well, half of the other GTA games are 2D =(
My guess is 2D, I doubt the DS can handle GTA's 3D environments.

maybe it'll be like ninja gaiden..
kinda top down view, but also a bit angled
that would be nice since it kinda satisfies both people who want it third person view and people who want it like GTA and GTA2

The 3D graphics have been used before and worked fine.. The game was Transformers DS Autobots OR Decepticons and they were really good games so IT CAN WORK..
