Homebrew group save file back up

Hi my son has a lot of games on his old 3ds and we have just got him a 3dsXL I am wondering if there is any tools to create save back ups selecting multiple games instead of one at a time. also just to double check if I create a save back up on one console then transfer it to a different sd card for use on another console will it be successful?

I don't think there is anything that can do batch backups, but you definitely can use backups on a different system. Just make sure to use JKSM as it has the most support for games.
