For your information, any backup things will be removed from gbatemp regardless they're licensed, legal dump etc.

This mod prevents game from locking to 30 FPS. It's meant for people who want to play Quality mode in 60 FPS.
Because of this mod Battery save mode is equal to Performance mode.

Recommended OC settings:

handheld_charging_cpu=1224
handheld_charging_gpu=768
handheld_charging_mem=1600

It works only with version 1.4.1_45339
Not tested in docked mode.

Copy exefs_patches folder to sdcard folder

Can you mod Darksiders 1 warmastered edition because have similar option like this?
Mod Quality mode with 60 fps
and maybe mod 60 fps too for Darksiders 2 because have a good port and i think possible to reach 60 fps with max OC

I like very much this game and i'd like to play 60fps in quality mode when docked (so far quality mode docked is 30fps, only 60fps in performance mode) and "normal" setup in handled.

This works in handheld and docked, but docked Quality Mode will have unstable 60 FPS with max OC.

Actually, i'd like to have patch improvements only in docked mode not only for this game, but all modded games without touching handled. Is it possible ?
Can docked mode being overclocked ? Docked mode doesn't already have maxed Tegra clock ?

It's possible, but not recommended. Docked mode has less space for OC than handheld, so getting 60 FPS in handheld mode is far more easier to achieve than in docked mode.

Ok for 60fps, but what about tweaker mods like distance display, resolution increasement...?

Other things needs more testing and I'm not here to help in that regard, because each game is it's own case.
Max are: CPU 1785 MHz, GPU 921 MHz, RAM 1600 MHz.

don't need that, just use reverseNX to flag it Docked mode, change setting to performance mode, then Overclock a bit (384-460mhz). It'll look much much better and run 60fps handheld most time.

Is it possible to edit deeper graphic settings? I found in my savegame (which I had transferred to my pc via the homebrew checkpoint)a "hardware_settings_config" and a "hardware_settings_info" (both xml-files).
In the config there are several interesting options, like "mirrors enabled = false", "advanced fog enabled = false", "wind = false", "water update = false".
I tried to change some settings and put the savegame back into the game with checkpoint, but somehow only the sound settings are applied. Sadly the game did not accept my changes to the graphic settings.
Does anyone know how to allow the game accepting changes to graphic settings?
I´ve attached the two xml-files to this post if anyone is interested in seeing them.

I think this is just base and it's overwritten by exefs because we have three graphical modes in two operation modes.
This config has only one settings configuration which is for 100% not complete.

If you are good at Assembler AARCH64 or in reading C pseudocode, then it's possible.

It’s not dev fault, we can use these mods only because we have access to cpu/gpu overclocking.

60 FPS mods have some similarities across all Switch games, so after some time 60 FPS is one of the easiest change in visuals to do in some games. Other graphics settings (except window resolution) are solely engine dependent, so if you want to change something else, you need to learn how this Engine works. And from what I saw in exefs of GRID - Switch related functions are less readable than PC trash that is left in code. So I'm spending more time on games that catch my heart and soul.
