Greetings! Is there a good way to let people know about a Zelda TOTK gamesave modifier that I made?

Hi all,

I'm a programmer who enjoys pretty much all game genres from all time periods. I've used information from this site to do some beginner-level romhacking in the past.

Over the last few weeks, I spent a ton of time on a zelda totk gamesave modifier. Is there a good way to let people know about it? Is there a forum that would be appropriate? It's a windows/linux app to modify totk game save files directly in an emulator's folders, which is quicker and easier than other mod methods. I use it to restore weapon durability and to refill inventory items, instead of using item duplication glitches.

I wanted to make it available for other people to use, so I put the app and its source code out on github. I put a ton of time into the app, and I even added magical frogs to the user interface. I would really like people to get some use and enjoyment from it.

The Switch section would be the place to post it:
...
Thanks! I'll post some info over there later. Here is a screenshot of the app just for fun. The frog art was time consuming but necessary in my opinion.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
