I'm already installing it to my 2nd partition, XP for games and stuff and Ubuntu for everything else

Yep......XP failed on my bother's girlfriend laptop ( an older model ) and she didn't have the original CDs anymore so I put Ubuntu on it........
It was awesome to spend a few mornings playing with it and find out all the features.
It certainly performs way better then XP on the older hardware....and she can do everything she used to without any problems ( listening music, browsing internet with firefox , printing documents and storing and watching her pictures ).
She wasn't gonna use it to play videogames anyway, so she can do now more then she used to.
One sad thing is that instant watching Netflix doesn't work on linux, you can browse or add to queue but there is no player ........ so that's the only downside.
But there are other means to watch movies anyway.........
Anyway, I really like ubuntu and I would put it on my system if I didn't aready have a dual boot vista/XP ( a third OS would be overdoing it..).
