I was wondering what would be the best guide out there to learning Japanese? I've always been interested in the language and would love to learn to write and speak it. However, I have no idea where to start. I know there are guides, but I don't know what is rated the best. Can anyone tell me?

Thanks!

Get the book called "Japanese for college students" and start with the basic vol.1, itìs probably the best book to learn japanese. Then you can practice online or on a exercise book you can find in your library (better if it's a student library)
