Hi there, I got a Jap wii and 2 wii motion plus add ons and am currently trying to get get EA Grand Slam Tennis (NTSC-U) working on it.

I've tried WBB, Wii Frii, Wiu, wglp, WGP to remove 001 and 002 error, but it goes to a black screen after I press to load game in the menu.
My assumption is that I'll need to update my firmware with a Japanese game to allow wii motion plus functionality, but I've also read that it's plug and play and doesn't require a firmware update.
Thoughts?
