A friend has a NDS Lite, and I'm looking to get a flashcart for them. I need to be able to run DS and GBA games; from what I've read, an R4i card with WOOD kernel is good for a slot-1 card, but what do I need for a slot-2 card?

Supercard DSTwo runs DSi, SNES, GBA, Genesis, etc.

Is it worth getting a DSTwo over getting something like an R4i Gold and a EZflash 3-in-1, or would that not work?

Well, the benefit of the DSTwo is that it can play GBA ROMs, without the need for a slot 2 card. So if he upgrades to a 3DS with 9.2 or lower, he can still play multiple systems' ROMs.

    EZflash iv + r4i = about $40
dstwo(if you can find it) = about $40

    Up to you really

The Ezflash has much better compatibility with GBA games so that's something for the ezflash.

The DSTwo works on the 3DS as well so if you're friend will upgrade to the 3DS soon(tm), get him that instead. Not to mention that it can also play SNES games.
