Noooooo idea how you managed to get that link.

Ooooh! I have my ways... *cough* it's on the website now *cough*

It has a "slot 2" function button now... I just turned it on and am still checking it out...

The firmware is 40mb? That's pretty large.

Personally i'm holding out on getting one until the SNES emulation is ready, but i'm still anticipating user reviews, and of course the official GBAtemp review.

78.5mb after extracting.
I don't know why I downloaded it though, still don't have the cart.

Right after i order a ez flash 3in1...
Now i want the supercard two...

NDS games play fine
GBA emu works fine
Moonshell works fine

...but I can't seem to find a way to play AVIs...

which menu has a file navigator that recognises AVIs?

The container format (AVI/MPG/MP4/MOV) is only part of the video's type.
  • Container
    • Video Codec
      • Resolution
      • FPS
      • Bitrate
    • Audio Codec
      • Channels
      • Sampling Frequency
      • Bitrate
If any of those parts is "out of bounds" for a specific player, then the video file won't play on the player, even if it's of the correct container type.

Most likely the player plays the more common video formats (Divx and Xvid), and you may have one in an uncommon format, or the resolution may be way too high for it to scale down properly.

And wow, the GBA emu works, like 100%?

My videos were taken straight from the microSD of my iPlayer -- so they should play... I mean, they play great on my iPlayer...

I just can't find a file browser that accesses the AVIs...

The GBA emu seems to work 100%... I mean... I only tested it on Mother 3 fan translation... but it plays great and saves great... no problems so far...

I don't think there is a player which uses the cart's internal hardware. The team has promised one though.

Hm should I make my review when a new firmware comes out that could play the movie files or just make it on this firmware. Or wait even longer and make it when SNES emulator comes out.

Dang it... it looks like I'll be using my iPlayer for a while yet...

Off topic -- you are Slovenian? I met Slavoj Zizek!

I'm actually extremely meh about the card right now. I've tried the GBA, which has severe button lag and frame skipping for me, but otherwise works fine in terms of all the other features. DS Roms are OK, Korg DS 10 Plus wouldn't load (takes me to the firmware's loading screen and hangs). The real-time menu doesn't work using the hotkey some times in several games, but when it does go in it works great. The slow-mo feature is buggy, and causes the screen to look really washed out and in NSMB it cause random bricks to appear, so I'm not touching that feature. Real Time Save worked great for what it is.

Overall it's kind of underwhelming. I mean, I've been following it since September with heavy excitement for all the features it was touting, but now that I have it and tried it out for myself, it just seems less than what I was expecting. Especially because it doesn't have support for media yet, nor does it have the SNES emulator, and most of the other features are kind of half-working or buggy. I'm still surprised that Kord DS wont load... my R4 runs it just fine.

"To me, 5 minutes of a good movie is worth more than the fate of Slovenia" he once said before the elections. I always remember this when I think of Zizek HAHA.

He's great... I love him. I saw him when he was in Australia... The conference cost approx US$300, but I snuck in. I don't have that kind of cash, but couldn't pass up the rare chance to meet him!
