Hacking Get blackscreen when playing smb 2 (nes) on Wii Menu.

Hey,

this is a softmodded wii question. ive d2x cIOS and can play gamecube and wii games perfetclt, also wiiware. but...

Everytime i open supermariobros 2 (installed from a wad) . I get an blackscreen. Is there anything I can do?

edit: also my wiimote loses colour and cant be used.

Could be either a corrupted wad or missing IOS.

Both are highly unlikely because:
-If you installed the wad and can see the banner, there's little chance it's corrupted.
-There's no reason to be missing an IOS, unless you did something you shouldn't.

Fixes:
-Use a different source for pirating.
-Load up the wad with Customizemii or ShowMiiWads, and look up the IOS it uses. Then test if it works by loading it in MMM.
If it doesn't, install the IOS again.

funny thing . id did work, in usb loader gx with 'forced ntfs' , but in Wii Menu it doesnt

is VC/WW region specific? ...if you had to force NTSC (i assume ntfs means NTSC), what are the chances it's an out of region wad.

don't really know if this could be the issue....just throwing it out there.

i know in priiloader, there's a region free hack...thought it was only for discs though....

Well. I found this nice collection of Wiiware/VC but, yeah, all of them are USA region. So, thats that.
