...Yeah... It only flashes once... :(

I believe I did use comix nand formatter. I also wish you were just a tad more clear. I see there were many things I did wrong; installing bootmii, nand installer, etc.

I did have BootMii installed. I just figured that BootMii would automatically install as boot2 since that seems to be the best alternative.

Also, what would have happened if my power went out during the install? I wouldn't have had any control over that situation and it would have equally messed up my Wii. :O
You had bootmii installed as bootmii ios. Any falure in restore from bootmii ios is bad news as there is no way to load bootmii ios after. When you ran the comix nand formater it removed everything from your wii. That would have been fine if it had finished installing the needed wads, but it does not work very well and hangs on many wads. Nand restores and formating should only be done from boot2 bootmii, this is why bootmii ios makes it very difficult to restore nand. If you want to fix it, send it to deadlyfoez. There is nothing else you can do.

I think I was CLEAR when I said :

Can you run a game normally? Have you tried leaving the console running a game the whole night?

Can you access HBC? If so, do a NAND Backup as fast as you can by using the latest Homebrew Channel, and while you do the NAND backup process check for bad blocks in NAND (black dots). If you're lucky enough you should have 3 or 4 bad blocks (hopefully NOT in the first 8 blocks of teh NAND map, this would mess things for you).

If you can install bootmii as boot2 then do it!!

edit: don't do anything the dude above suggested yet! make sure what's your root problem first or a nice brick would say hi!

edit2: don't dare to touch NAND yet.

Lesson learnt. Don't do things by yourself if you:

1. gonna ask for help

2. Don't know what the hell you're doing yet you want to take the risks involved.

/end

Yeah, lol. I looked up installing boot2 bootmii (considering people kept advising me to) but nothing was ever clear. After numerous searches, I never saw how to exactly install bootmii as boot2, all I saw was "boot2 bootmii is preferred, install boot2 if you can" so I just assumed it was installed and said fuck it.

As mauifrog said, your best bet is to send DeadlyFoez your Wii and your NAND backup. He can resurrect your WII and put it back on track. Send him a PM for INFO.

the reason bootmii ios is an option is because nintendo eventually patched an exploit in boot1 allowing bootmii to be installed in boot2. old wiis still have the exploit, new wiis do not
