YOU ARE NOW STARTING YOUR CORRECTIONAL PROCESS

This is a port of The Smiler Game to New 3DS systems. For those who need context, The Smiler Game was released in February 2013 to drum up hype for Alton Towers new roller coaster: The Smiler

Commissioned by Alton Towers and Developed by Matmi, the gameplay is a balancing game, where you have to control the ride car across The Smiler track, and keeping it balanced across the ride, doing this gives you more progress towards your correction meter, and when your correction meter fills up, one of the 16 riders in the car will become corrected. This gives you points to spend in the upgrade shop, which can be used to buy sections of the track (you start with a very bare bones ride) or upgrades to the marmaliser, a massive spider like structure in the middle. Both of these help correct your riders faster. In turn however, the ride will become more difficult to navigate and get a perfect balance in, and the marmaliser upgrades may distract you from the balancing.

The game, however, was removed from app stores on the 5th of June, 2015 after The Smiler accident occurred. The game still remains playable through old android hardware and android emulators, and now this New 3DS port.

Yes, some AI was used during the making of this port, it was used to rewrite most of the code for the game, however, the game has been play tested multiple times on actual hardware, to make sure any bugs have been stomped out and erased, as well as to make sure that the game plays just like the original mobile version, by using side by side comparisons to the android edition.

NO AI ASSETS, MESHES OR TEXTURES WERE GENERATED FOR THE PROJECT

Since I am Newbie Rank, I can't post the link here, but searching 'The-Smiler-Game-New-Nintendo-3DS-Edition' in GitHub Search should show it. The GitHub has more information and the download.

Thank you for reading... and remember...

Smile. Always.
