grr... just when I get into a Yu-Gi-Oh! game, I the Wi-Fi freezes on me, AND I get lagged out of the IRC. Shame.. Ah well..

um can someone please answer these questions?
What time should I join for australian time?
WHat games I shhould have?
And if its possible to use the mibbit irc client to communicate???

yes
whenever the hell you want
whatever the hell you want
EDIT: No

It's over for the time being, but I reckon there will be people in the chat room for a while

For us Aussies that's from 9:00am to 3:00pm. I'll try and make it but I've got a wedding to attend + holiday this week so I've got no idea where I'll be. (Most likely to be without internet access)

To make things less confusing, please use the same name that you are using for IRC for your DS games.

dsdoom will be next week (Urza couldn't upload the completed version)

Is there any way we can get a IRC command for the gbatemp-wifi room that when you type:
/name , you can get their friend codes? Of course we would stillhave to put friend codes in the database, but something like this would stop the 100 posts of "What's your friend code?" .

Also, because of the nature of friend codes, would it be possible to implement something so people can mark if they've added you? (It has to work both ways) You can give out your code and trawl through until you find someone else's but it's nice to know if they've actually bothered to add you.

I'm sure there used to be a system like this on IRC and I know these forums have a database. :S

i could make a friend code script for irc, i'll actually have time tonight and tomorrow. it isn't a hard script to make. if its wanted/needed lemme know by posting back here or PMing me and i'll get to work on it. urza knows i'm good for it, my quote bot annoys him daily in #dsdb =P

adding a way for people to know who added who based on irc script is way to much overhead and databasing, its not worth the effort. what would work is a database where you type a command like !fc $nick and it scrolls all friendcodes that user had submitted. with a password feature so users can delete their own codes if desired. the rest is up to old fashioned communication between people to know who has added who and who wants to play what... etc.

Argh i was out all day today. Just a question, to play ds doom do you have to have the server set up on your pc? cause i could never get ds doom working.

we're getting some Worms Open Warfare 2 games going
For some reason this game's WiFi won't work for any of us. So until the problem is solved, this game will not be played.

Also, I heard that Line Rider 2 has WiFi; can anyone confirm this?
