If they don't post after a certain period of time, they should be removed.

Definitely, right on Kota! Users inactive for after a month should be removed. Even if it doesn't free up board space, it does allow names to be reused and.... well... if you ever do a member search you'll see theyre everywhere. An example is a member called koekiesux, or something very similar, when i wanted to look at koekies webpage i searched his name and that came up. Not very nice at all. Just stupid names made to piss people off. Perhaps warning messsages could be sent to people, in case they ARE just readers and are shy. There could be a list that a mod has, or something, of these people. Anyway, just a suggestion.

Since I've been here from the get go and don't post here that much (except when I feel the need) I think this is an idiotic idea. I post when I want to and to make me post once a month to keep my account alive is stupid, and frankly if you want to make it 6 months then I wouldn't complain abit.

And also you might ask why don't I post more and be a more active member of the community, the answer is time. I am a active forum member elsewhere but I still visit GBATemp everytime I'm online for news and to see what's up. So to have my membership revoked like that is stupid and I want to voice my dislike for that option, I hope and pray the mods and staff do not look into that option as it is childish and rife with idocy. I will support a higher time limit (6+ months) but I will not go with 1 month or less.

i have like been around alot and i want to be on the staff. how well does it pay? and what hours can i get? i will be staff for as low at 25$ an hour but i need to get at least 30 hours a week and not on like late hours cuse i go partying or online chatting. um is there any openings for me?

I understand what your saying, but I think you misunderstood what ben88 was saying...
You may or may not notice there are many "members" who have been registered here for at least a year and never posted...To allow someone 6 months to post after registering seems a rather long time really. I only registered here so I could post, so if all someone wants to do is read the forum, then there's no need to actually register here until you want to contribute something. I don't think anyone is going to go around deleting account because someone who was once an active member hasn't post for a month. These things happen though, we all have lives (well most of us)...

I cant believe I would get back stabbed Like this. and they are using my idea which i told shaunj66 about pruning some mod.s and Putting the others to Global.

some remarks from my side:
logs: keep them locked away. it was a staff meeting and that's what it should stay. we have the info we need and for urgent stuff pm the staff... haha

member-staff meeting: sounds cool... unless it's again taking place when i'm asleep

popularity voting: better not. such things tend to cause a heckload of worse blood and that's not what we need.

anything more? nahhhh... not now... but i definitly should remove the hidden tape from the staff forum... i think i've got enough proves right now
