A "bye" means you won.

See, if there isn't enough players to fill a bracket (as was the case this time around), some players will auto-win a round, since they have no one to fight against.

This auto-win is called a "bye"

I was so confused, I was like "I haven't played anyone yet i just woke up?!?" ha

Well, welcome to Round 2!

OK guys - I am going to that national Nintendo/Best Buy tournament today, so I will be gone most of the afternoon. Download the bracket from the main page, play whomever it shows on the main page, and keep track of things while I'm gone

yeah, Teh_Link won.
Definately a good game, but I wish our connection was more solid

Don't forget this is a DOUBLE elimination tournament, which means you need to be beaten by TWO different people before you are out!

Edit1: Bracket has been updated, new file download link is up. There are two round 2 matches available for play

Anaki, I sent you a PM in case you haven't checked yet.

BTW Raganook, did you get to play in the tournament yesterday? I went down there but was too late to enter. I did get a wii remote keychain flashlight out of it, though.

You didn't miss anything. Rules were dumb as hell.

1) Starting roster only
2) 4 minutes, no stock
3) ALL items on, normal rate.
4) MUST pick Battlefield. Every single time.
5) MUST use classic controller

I just had my matches with Bugboy181 (Nate), 2-0 to me ^^. Good matches man!!! the lag was abit annoying, but nonetheless playable.

EDIT: btw jus wanted to add. Raganook, thanks very much for organizing this whole thing. From being so excited i fink i forgot to say fanks

Web VS DaDAM
Web lost.

Also, confirmed that you can NOT play SSBB online on a 256K DSL connection without some lag.
Either that or DaDAM is very far away from me.
It says he is in PST US and I am in EST US, so that might have been a factor.
Oh well, at least this is a double-elimination so i can try again, possibly at a friends house with faster internet.

Either way, DaDAM's Marth killed my Web's samus.

I won 2-0 aganst webyugioh. nice match btw

Thank you, it would have been better if not for the lag.
I died like twice there towards the end because of the lag.
Thanks for playing me and i would love to try to play you again.

PS: how does the double-elimination work?
I only found out who to play against because it was on the first post, so will the tell me who i am
against next there or do i have to find out though the bracket?
