PS: how does the double-elimination work?
I only found out who to play against because it was on the first post, so will the tell me who i am
against next there or do i have to find out though the bracket?

I have updated the front page with all current results, a new bracket.jpg representing current standings, and also re-wrote the current lineups on the front post if you would prefer to read it that way

More round 2 matches are available, and a loser's bracket match is now available

Double Elimination:

1) After you lose your first match, you enter a second tournament bracket. It's exactly like the first bracket you were in, except it's only filled with people who have lost a match, and if you lose here, you are done.

2) The winner of the winner's bracket ultimately fights the winner of the loser's bracket.

3) The Winner's bracket contender must win ONLY ONCE against the loser's bracket finalist to win the game. The loser's bracket finalist must win TWICE to win the game. This makes sense if you think about it: The winner's bracket finalist hasn't lost ever, so he can afford to lose a single time. The loser bracket finalist, however, has lost once already.

Today is the end of the 3rd day since match posting (All of Saturday, All of Sunday, and all of today).

If 1chiban claims a no-show win by the end of today, I have to honor it.

Sora and I have been trying to get a match up for hours last night. for some reason i cannot join his game nor can he join my game. However i can have other people join my game and i can join otjher people's game. It's just that Sora can't connect to me nor can i.

what should we do? =/

NIn and judas had some problems setting up a match,
cause he couldn't come online when i was ready and when he was ready it was way to late over here (time difference).
wel i can battle now but there is no answer yet, if you're here judas, come and battle.

yeah, about me and yonex, I really have no idea what was going on with that. We were basically trying to connect for 3 hours last night, and nothing worked. It was my first online match, and I at first thought it was my connections fault, but after playing some online matches agienst other people online, I think it has something to do with our pairing. I can see him and his game, and he can see mine, but we get the same errors when we try to join...I've also typed in each error at nintendowifi.com, and nothing comes up, so I have no idea.
I really don't know what to do with this, if there's some way we could get different match ups or something. I really sorry about all this, its kinda messed up...

72 hours PAST the point you got paired up. Im at work, so I'm not sure off hand.

I won't be home until 6:30pm PST, at which point I will mega-update the bracket/front post etc

If I change the pairings, you two will only end up fighting each other again, and have the same problem.

You can't BOTH be able to connect to other people and not each other, that makes no sense

. My advice: both of you DMZ the IP of your Wii. Ill extend your matches 24 hours to allow you to try again
