Well, I see their timezone is GMT standard, so they're probably in Europe which right now to them it's like 2:00AMish

So if it's possible, can we extend the match for a day?

I'd hate it if 1chiban lost the match because they can't answer us because they're asleep..

This information isn't new; the 72 hour rule has been in place since I created this thread, a week before the tournament began.

I'll grant the extension in the interest of fun and good sportsmanship though.

I have to say HAK is a awesome Pit player and those were some tense matches, I felt as though I was gonna lose on some of those but it was really close. Thanks again HAK for those awesome matches!

Two forfeit victories have been awarded early based on:

1) The lack of activity by the opponent up to this point
2) The time zone of their opponents, who are active
3) The official rules

Ichiban, I get back from School today after 5:30ish EST time. If i'm not mistaken, that's around 10ish PM GMT. I'll try to get home sooner, so it should be around 9-10 PM standard GMT.

Ah, well I'm sorry =/. I of course can not see what emails you send to your opponent, only posts on this topic. I highly recommend you post here as you communicate. Ex: "I've sent an email to XXX, awaiting response", so I can keep track of who is active and who is inactive. You should also probably check on things like inactivity (and post about them!) EARLIER than minutes before your time is up.

Okay Raganook, Sora and i tried configuring things with our router and we still had no luck. So this is what im thinking of doing.

We need someone to host a match where Sora and I can both join and have the host sitout. Now the only time thats possible for Sora and I to play is around 10:40ish CST.

So if anyone can help us out, please let us know.
