Another year, another chance at killing someone. Welcome back to another round of the GBAtemp Hunger Games, where dozens of members of the GBAtemp community rip themselves to shreds for the chance to get bragging rights and nothing more! Now going for almost 8 years!
If you don't know, the GBAtemp Hunger Games is a forum game we've done every now and then since 2016. This uses the BrantSteele Hunger Games Simulator (we switched to the experimental version as of last round). All you have to do is ask to be entered, and you'll be added to the simulation. No further user input is required; just sit back, relax, and enjoy as you watch forum members brutally murder each other. Of course, this is fully random and based on luck - and can potentially get frustrating due to your character doing the stupidest shit and then proceeding to die from it. So just keep that in mind. This is also vanilla, meaning that there will be no special events added. If you don't know what that means, don't worry about it.
Note:The gender used for your character in this simulation will be taken from your about section in your profile (if accessible), unless specified.
If you're still confused and want to see how this all works, I recommend checking out some of the previous rounds by going to the bottom of this post, clicking on 'Rounds of Past and Present', and clicking a link to an older round (I also recommend looking at the more recent rounds from 2018 and onward).
The Roster™
(This will be kept at 36 players this time unless I need to expand it again.)
You are allowed to nominate someone to join the round by @'ing them. The list of nominations are in the spoiler below.
Given the amount of nominations last round however, I will be limiting this to 12 nominations only to give new people a chance to join.
The roster has now been updated - not many new people replied as I expected, but luckily Hayato's nominations have managed to fill most of the rest of the space.
There was an extra space left so I decided to nominate someone myself... @Maximumbeans.
Why? Because I promised them a reserved space... for Round 26... back in Round 25. I'm 15 months late. Oops.
Also the staff nominations were put in District 12 because... uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
