Since I feel like linking someone else's content would be cheating, and I don't want to put my face on the internet, I've decided to go with the story option.

Once, around the holidays, I was hanging out with my buddy at his house and at some point during the night we decided to watch "Click", that mediocre Adam Sandler movie (hahaha). I'm spoilering the rest of this in case anyone REALLY wants to watch a bad movie from 2006.

Throughout the whole film I've got a straight face. It was at this point that I remember realizing that, maybe Adam Sandler isn't that funny of a guy. Meanwhile my friend is offering up at least a chuckle at every forced joke to come his way.

Anyway, near the end of the film, Sandler's character skips to a point in his old age where he and his son have a falling out. This is supposed to be the part that tugs at your heart strings because Sandler's character falls over and dies of a heart attack. How sad.

At this point, I don't know why, I break into a fit of uncontrollable laughter after being mostly silent for the better part of an hour. My face turned red, my laughter echoing through the house. My friend looks at me like I'm some kind of monster and he keeps telling me to stop laughing (probably because this isn't normal behavior). And then his mother walks in.
I'm trying my hardest to stop, but I simply can't and I think I might pass out. My friend then has to explain to his mother, over the laughter, why this chubby kid is dying of laughter on the family couch. I expect the worst because I'm aware that this shouldn't be happening, and she just gives me a stone-faced look, as if to ask "what the hell is wrong with you?" before retreating back to the other room.

We ended up having to pause the movie while I contained myself. After a few breaths and a glass of water, I was ready to continue. And you know what? I didn't laugh at a single line that came after that. Maybe because my abdominal region was aching after the mother of all workouts, maybe because the movie was bad. Could be either, really.

The rest of the night was pretty uneventful, and I went the drive home was really awkward. But it's still one of the best times I've had watching a movie with a friend.

Give it a shot, I wouldnt see why not!
Well, let's try. Hope it'll be a good laugh anyway :D
Let's start with a bit of backstory:
This is my face in recent times
This is a .png of my face
Since my first decent phone (a motorola z3) I have a really strange tradition with my phones, you'll discover it soon.
Now the fun part of the story:
I recently purchased an android smartphone. I'm new to the android world and I was afraid that customization would be like in the apple world and I would have needed to root and modify a rom by myself to keep my tradition alive. Then I found about Nova Launcher. I was so happy, my tradition is being kept alive this time too!
Curious about it? Well, be ready!

This is what I did to all my phones in the past seven years. :D
This is my entry, hope it's not breaking any rule

I'm planning on entering, but I'm having a really hard time trying to decide what to post, as I'm stuck in a two-way tie :c

2 guys are digging a hole under the hot sun

One says to the other : "Hey, Mack, why is it that we are both here sweating like pigs in this horrible heat and our boss is over there under that tree sipping a cold lemonade?"
Mack : "Hey, I don't know. I'll go ask him."

So Mack climbs up out of the hole and walks right on over and asks his boss : "Hey, boss, why is it we're over here doing all the hard work and you're just resting here un the shade?"
Boss : "It's mental integrity"
Mack : "Mental what?"
Boss : "Mental integrity. Here, let me show you."
The boss then proceeds to place the palm of his own open hand right up against the trunk of the tree and said : "Hit my hand."
Mack : "No, boss, that would hurt you."
Boss : "I'm your boss. I'm telling you to hit my hand as hard as you can."
Mack : "...OK"

So Mack pulls back and swings at his boss's hand with all his strength.
His boss quickly pulls his hand out of the way and Mack's hand crashes right in into the bare tree trunk.
Boss : "There, that's mental integrity"

Mack nods and walks back to the hole, shaking his bruised hand in an attempt to aleiviate some of the pain.
He then climbs back into the hole and continues to dig.

After a few minutes his co-worker can't stand it any longer and blurts out : "Hey, so what did he tell you?"

Mack stops digging and says : "It's ... uh ... mental integrity."
Co-worker : "Mental what?"
Mack then places his open palm firmly over his own face and says : "Here, hit my hand."

This is a true story. My mom told me this is what her 2 younger brothers did when they were around 7 years old:

They were playing around in the yard when they came across a bicycle pump. So they decided to try it out and looked around for a bike to pump.

But there was no bike in sight.

Now this is probably the finest example of the saying "An idle mind is a devil's workshop". This is what transpired next between them:

The elder one (let's call him Bro 1) figures out that there is indeed something he can pump. He calls out to his younger brother (Bro 2) to come stand next to him.

Bro 1: Hey, I know something we can pump.
Bro 2: What?

Bro 1: Well, just stand over here. And pull down your pants.
Bro 2: Why?

Bro 1: Just do it! It will be fun.
Bro 2: OK!

Bro 1: Great, now bend over.
Bro 2: Why?

Bro 1: Just do it, trust me.
Bro 2: OK!

Bro 1: Ok, now don't move....
Bro 2: Hey, that tickles! Ow, that's cold!

Bro 1: Ok, ready?
Bro 2: ok....

Bro 1 pumps Bro 2 a couple of times and then...

Bro 2: (holding his stomach) OWWW....my tummy hurts! Waaahhhhh....
Bro 1: I told you it would be fun....(for me)

Bro 2 runs inside the house crying. Bro 1 gets a good whacking from his dad.

THE END.

Since the prize of the contest is a mayflash gamecube adapter for Wii U! Let's kind of play around the Smash Bros. theme. :P

Here's an edited video of one of my Smash Bros. Wii U replays playing online with some friends, best SPIKE-KU I've ever performed in any entry of the series.

Also! here's a picture of me inspired by ZeRo (Smash Scarf-wearing Player) & ChrisG (UMvC3, USF4, Injustice, etc) just for the laughs! It's my Sw3g win pose! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_,b

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
