I mean, yeah, you can maintain aspect ratio, but resizing 240x160 to 256x192 is going to look like garbage no matter what

I did 256x170 which gives a little more of screen size and keeps the aspect ratio and the correct settings are these for anyone wondering

"maskWidth": 256,
"maskHeight": 170,
"centerOffsetX": 0,
"centerOffsetY": 11,

In Github included JIT patches doesn't fix the issue. Are there any other patches that need to be added?
Not sure about the JIT patch, maybe you can ask the relevant testers or contributors who tested the game. Are you using the European version of the ROM dump?

any compatibility list? Specifically for DS Lite
Check the compatibility list here

Looks like Sonic advance 1 & 2 work fine even in NTR mode. Probably just need additional JIT patch for performance improvement. A user on discord said he finished Sonic Advance 2 with gbarunner3 without any performance issues, just some crackling in his left speaker.
You can see it in the NTR tab.

Here's a testing build I made which incorporates support for the official Nintendo Rumble Pak, it will be published and improved later once we free some space in vram for code, since it's currently full.

This build is the same as ac48f9d with a simple Rumble Pak driver implementation added, please take in mind that it's not finished yet, so only Nintendo's Rumble Pak will work (and maybe third party devices that are able to emulate it).

I've only tested Drill Dozer since Wario Ware Twisted needs the Gyro Sensor to be played, and the d-pad patch only works with hicode, which lacks space for the needed code currently.

The most use of of it will probably be on DSi, as no matter what there will be slowdown and Ram problems in the DS/DS lite and there is a better option in the 3DS.

Make sure you have a valid bios and configuration folder. You can dump your gba bios yourself and get the configuration folder from GitHub/discord. The guide site you referenced contains a tutorial for installing gbar3 on flashcards, it's actually pretty similar. It's just that you need to copy the gbarunner3.nds file to the _nds/twilightmenu/emulators folder
(correct me if I'm wrong), then create a _gba folder containing the game configuration folder, bios, configuration files (in .json format), and borders. But the most important thing is the bios, some cases when people are stuck on the gbar3 splash screen it's because they don't use the bios/their bios doesn't match. Do not use open source bios, since gbarunner3 does not support them.

Thanks a lot. I had the bios in the root of the SD card, like you should with gbarunner2. Completely missed that.
It works fine now, both with gbar3-frontend and twilightmenu. Thanks again! 👍

Hey, where do i download a beta build? All of the beta builds are "expired". Can yall help?

Attached a bundle with both the last build from here and the one from deletecat, as well as a launcher/frontend and a git clone with configs.
The one from deletecat has 4 more configs (264) and is a month newer then the one from here.

Thanks. I would directly mod my 2DS but the SD card drive BROKE. Since it’s so cheap they soldered IT ON.

I have literally just seen the 2DS being cheaper that a Nintendo DS or a DS Lite for at least twenty dollars. So while prices have gone up you still save like 20 to 30 dollars by buying a 2DS instead of a DS.

Hey, does Gbarunner3 requires Twillightmenu++ to work or can it be used without that? Got a DS flashcart but can onlu use Gbarunner2 fine.

Oh boy, that heavily depends on your location. Here an o2DS is 200USD more expensive than a DS Lite, so don't take your case as the general situation.

I looked in Amazon USA so that was the prices in the USA. Of course with the new tarifs there who knows how much expensive it will get?

I tested with the M3 DS Real Rumble Pack and it doesn't seem to work, which is a bit weird since the same hardware works without patches in NDS games (e.g. Metroid Prime Pinball)

As far as I remember, the M3 rumble works differently and some kernels have automatic patches for such games.
