I got it working too!:) Wram i-cache disabled did the trick!

Edit: Now, I wonder why Doom keeps on crashing during the first level..
Also I checked the wiki and it does state that there's problem with cache enabled on this game so I guess this was old news? :P
I managed to finish a lap but still got the glitches on the bottom of the screen. Game plays very smoothly and audio is good too, although I'm not the most familiar with this game. I'll check out doom too. Maybe this is what I gotta do to make that other racer game to not crash as well.

Turns out I was kinda right about Street Racing Syndicate. I was able to get ingame by disabling wram i-cache, and therefore further than before. The game is pretty glitchy and only rarely will you get past the main menu and be able to get into the game- I found the best strategy to be button mashing A and trying to get as quickly past the menu's as possible. Then in the race you'll be presented with a glitchy mess of textures surrounding a floating car model. It's hard to explain and an interesting experience.

Tried out Doom too.The video is glitching from the beginning with what can be described as a flashing screen or interrupting picture. The game crashes at random points ingame. Any cache settings don't change the game, neither do the clock speeds. Sound is very good though and when it crashes it plays through the games sound effects. This seems to be a regression since on the wiki it states that the game played well with that build from 24.12.19.

Anyways, @Dodain47 I was wondering if you could test this Minish Cap save with specifically a DSi if you own one. I'm getting weird shimmering graphics in the bridge near the stairs on the bottom of the fair area you start in. This issue did not exist in the previous build and does not happen in latest the 3DS build. Also I just noticed that sound is crackling on the DSi but not on 3DS.

Hello, thanks
I also tried this method, sorry for not saying it beforehand.
Tried selecting bootstrap and also tried to select gbarunner as bootstrap and as rom file. no sucess
Did you try to direct it to the nds-bootstrap-hb.nds? (Not sure that's the exact name.) It's the bootstrap that is used for homebrew, and you might've directed it to the bootstrap for commercial games. You could try forcing it by renaming the hb bootstrap to the commercial one, however you wouldn't be able to load retail games with nds-bootstrap then.

It is completely possible, just tested myself with all my original carts. I recommend you to use GBA Backup Tool homebrew for the DS, but a flashcard is needed.

Weird, when I try to do the opposite (Use my cart save backup on emulator) GBARunner will simply delete my save and create a new one.

That is because they use a different save format (even if they might both use .sav as extension). I don't know what you'll need to convert to. Maybe raw?

By "cart save backup on emulator" are you referring to gbarunner2 as the emulator?

Usually, GBA Backup tool outputs the save data in the standard .sav format, compatible with any emulator out there.

Which game save file are you trying to backup?

Thank you for testing @Zense. I plan to get a DSi at some point.

Using a DSi XL. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I run the GBARunner2dsi.nds app from Unlaunch, I just get a white screen that hangs for a while. Is that normal, should I be waiting on that screen for something to appear, or does that mean something went wrong? I have a bios.bin file in the root directory of the SD card, and it has the right checksum.

Edit: NVM lol, booted it through Twilight Menu ++ and it works just fine

Also, I hear the DSi XL is pretty nice. Might pick one of those up myself.
I bought one as my first (non-3)DS in a decade, and it's a wonderful little thing.

You need to launch a GBA ROM in the TWiLight Menu++ GUI, in order to use GBARunner2 on your DSi.
