Hacking GBA slot emulation

I can't get this to work.
Im using u-disk 4.4, write over both mmz3/mmz4(us) with default settings. Then write over mmzx with defaults / link checked (doesn't find the gba roms). Go to mycard -> X on mmz3 / mmz4 then tried starting mmzx in mycard mode and nds mode. But the doors still won't open...
Am I missing something?

I am now able to use the linkage due to the fact that I had to update the Loader to 4.4 as well, I would reccomend trying that, updating the u-disk manager isint enough

For some it was. I used v4.4 before the firmware was available and it works just fine. In fact, I still haven't updated to 4.4

Sorry, but, can i transfer pokemons from emerald (gba) to diamond (DS) with this method?

this is just to unlock certain item/events in DS games, you cant transfer stuff from GBA to DS, since there is NO way of connecting a GBA game to a DS game, and there will never be a way to do that.

If it loads both the gba and ds saves to the G6's SRAM it may work. How much SRAM does the G6 have anyway?

I believe that it does load both into the SRAM. At least, it gives you the message that it is loading the save data for both games while booting up..

Then I don't see why it wouldn't work, some needs to test it out.

Regarding this, what if I own a store copy of Pokemon Pearl and I have the G6 flash cart in the GBA slot. Will it work then since its only reading the GBA game?
