Hacking GBA games on a DSi

On this thread it says "Are you willing to open a GBA cartridge and swap it into a cheap game so it'll fit in your DS?", and if you say yes to that, it tells you to get the ez flash 3 in 1, does this mean that you can fit an ez flash 3in1 into a ds cartridge and use it in a dsi?
