ROM Hack GBA Auto Trainer Maker(GBAATM)

It sounds like it could be caused by memory moving around. What is the code? I'll check it out and see what's going on.

While the patched roms works perfectly in Visual Boy Advance, I can't make them work in Gameboid, the GBA emulator for android.
Do you have any ideas why it doesn't work in Gameboid?. The games loads fine, but the cheats doesn't work. Its like loading an unpatched rom.

Turn VBLANK Check off and it should work. Seems like another emulator that doesn't completely emulate the hardware exactly.

Game: Castlevania - Harmony of Dissonance (U)

Issue: When patched through GBAATM, the codes appear to be working fine. However, the idle and jumping sprites for the protagonist are replaced by a flickering conglomeration of background elements. No other sprites (running/walking, objects, and mons) seem to be affected.

This happens regardless of which memory address I choose to start from or the number of wait cycles, enable on or off, whether I include the seed code or not, if I only use one cheat, or if I only input the seed and no actual cheats. When input manually within VBA, the codes work and there are no graphical glitches.

Hi Cracker:

I'm having the same issue than Lathi. Can't find a way to make it work. Like him all the codes I tried worked fine, but the main character's sprites are all glitched up.
Is there any way to avoid this issue?.

Note that you will need to encrypt it with the seed code (first line of the master code that starts with 9) if you are using encrypted codes. This can be done with CBACrypt.

All the codes posted works perfectly fine with VBA cheat engine. And they also work with GBAATM without your GBAATM Patch. The problem begins when you put the patch in GBAATM.

Sorry for the long wait for a reply -- was gone for a few days.

I see that I need to add a fix to the code parser/translator in GBAATM for 'super' (type 5) codes as it is taking the fill data and using it as cheat lines instead.

In the meantime you can use this more verbose code to properly patch it...

The hooking method has been changed to prevent corruption such as seen in the graphics glitches in CVHoD and music glitches like in Metroid Fusion.

hey cracker, im using GPSP-J to play Metroid Fusion (U), and GBAATM 1.9.9.4, and after the trainer menu opens, sounds are all crackled and unbearable to hear, the cheats I use are from http://cheats.codetwink.com/gba/view/5054/
I haven't touched any options.

Thanks for the heads up on the Metroid Fusion music problem since it was two problems causing it apparently... I found out what was going on and it works w/o really crappys 80s band like music.

the error message is this
GBAATM has detected a problem and it must be closed making patching those games impossible for me
