Norton (Virus scan) keeps deleting it when I download the Gateway 2.3b release.

I see that you have edited your previous post, but I thought I'd like to point out that you still need a 3DS on 4.1-4.5 firmware (do not update).

Emunand is a system firmware that is loaded from the SD card. The Emunand can be updated as it won't overlap with your real 4.1-4.5 firmware (as long as you don't make a mistake). Since cryptology scheme changes for 7.0+ firmware, emunand is required to play newer games.

Has anyone had a problem with their friends list not showing on emuNAND, yesterday I posted having a problem with friends list freezing when selected in sysnand and emuNAND. After formatting the system memory the friends list works when on sysnand but still freezes when in emuNAND. This has only happened with this latest release of gateway firmware, would it be worth formatting emuNAND and going through the steps again, just wondering if any other users have had this issue before redoing the steps..........................sudeki300

Sorry for being offtopic: around 2010is Norton did a full rewrite of their AV/FW stuff. It's no longer the cancer it used to be (even though in my opinion the user interface still sucks balls) and doesn't phone home as extensively as it use to (granted, it still doe's but not more than other security software).

Updated to the correct emunand, have some shop access - able to download updates for Mario Kart, Tomodachi, Pokemon 1.2, etc. However, the search function doesn't work and there are only a tiny amount of titles available that are listed through all of the eshop menus. Can't search for Shovel Knight, Netflix, Youtube, Steel Diver, etc. Trying to use the QR reader to search for titles displays that those titles are not available on the server.

I tried both a cold reboot and reformating the emuNAND already. Thinking about formating system memory through the normal system settings next. Any suggestions?

i think, I'm not too sure but its cause of your location. do you know if you can get this games with an updated 3DS.

You will never get Netflix outside of the American or Canadian eShop. I downloaded it prior to the implementation of the NNID system from the American eShop.

I believe the Brazlian eShop has similar contents to the Mexican eShop, but if you are using another country of South America, it may not offer you any content outside game updates.

Just a curiosity question. If the rom isn't renamed to 3dz i can use safely whatever online features game has that don't require legit signature right ? for example getting gift before loading pokemon game, spotpass etc right ? That is the features that require signature will simply not work on .3ds files.

they both use the same emunand......so it doesnt matter which one

Anyone had any issues accessing NN settings under system settings, It's froze the 3DS twice now, Don't want to risk it again as there's nothing I really need to do, anybody else having any issues there? Also If I download the Netflix dump am i to believe It wont work for me as im in the UK? Thanks.

I can confirm this as well, DSi games go to a black screen and activity log, friends list, and miiverse freeze up for me.
