Hacking Gateway omega 2.0 means MH4 can go online?

Gateway omega 2.0 offers region free for classic mode, and classic mode offer online game play when we use retail cart to play. Does it mean that if we have mh4 retail cart, then we can play online for mh4 in classic mode using us region 3ds?

Anyone had tried it? How bout the stability? If yes then i am going to buy mh4 now. Thanks for answering

Can't play online. MH4 needs a patch to go online, you can't get access to an out of region e-shop, so can't grab the patch.

Means if eshop game is capable to be played, then when someone put the patch online for download, we might have the chance to do so, well, theoritically as well though...

no it means the eshop UPDATE (patch) for monster hunter 4 cant be downloaded from an out of region console no one is going to release a "patch" for it because that would require running unsigned code in emunand...which gateway wont enable that and smealum hasnt released his rednand nor would it promise anything like this

I think thats what he means, the patch from the eshop, but at present there still isnt a method to install the .cia format the update patches from the estore are coming out as, so Far they have all been the Euro Eshop updates aswell, no Jap ones have surfaced yet
