All I wanted was to get through ONE Pokemon release without the hordes of ROM beggars. I doubt the scene will even be mature enough to beat the AP on the game by the time it's released. Nintendo probably put in their order for a GW3DS the day it came out and has already come up with a way to block it on future games.

Good for you then. If your gonna buy a cheap pirate clone you might as well go all the way. Buy some clone shoes, clone bed... hell, who needs a house? U can just live in a clone tent. The point is nothing is EVER as good as the original UNLESS it finds a way to improve on the original design. This is copy and pasting what they do in a cheap shell and putting a chinese sticker on it.

Decrypting the Gateway lets all developers use the same exploit as they did.

If Yellows and Neimod had released their exploit, people would be complaining about Gateway and R4i 3DS Platinum using their exploit.

This is the general consensus of everyone here who approve of cheap clone cookie cutter bullshit. Apparently its ok to say fuck gateway as long as it gets into the Supercard team's hands right? Idiots. The supercard already stated numerous times they have no interest to ever make a supercard dsthree... EVER. Hell, they didnt even believe the gateway would ever work or ever be released. They trash talk it every chance they get in their own forums. They also ban anyone who talk about gateway in their forums now.

The gateway will fail. Nintendo just needs to patch the exploit once and the cart is 10000% useless. Since it uses an exploit that is not replaceable it can only work till patched. It's not like the rom carts for the ds.... They patch DS rom carts with dldi and make it a legal battle. The Gateway will be illegal cause it doesnt offer homebrew. Nintendo will sue anyone with the balls to sell a 100% pirate cart. It's not used for homebrew and only able to carry 1 game on the sd cart at a time. So its not about backing up 3ds titles using this cart ... piracy is the only reason ... It wont last. Also ... for the love of god .. ppl, read the forum topics .. this is not the 1st topic made for 1 damn thing.... give it a break or reply on the other topics instead of making new ones.

The gateway is pointless. Its exploit unlike actual rom carts for the ds is already patched and not worth the cost. It will cost more devolping it... The team behind the "gateway" are counting on as many uninformed, easy to release they're money, public ppl with money to burn on buying their product.... It's not worth the cost... since the 3ds needs updates to play newer games, nintendo have shown that patching it is the only way to play newer games as their released ... so having a "gateway" is restricting you to .. well .. 1 game per sd.. you need a laptop to recover your saves with every game swap and no new games support.. Waste of money.

updates to the 3ds via game carts forced updates will happen.... Honestly even if the company doesnt get sued for trying to sell a complete piracy nightmare of a card. I'd be surprised if anyone stocks them... that and the card will still be blocked by either online updates or gamecart updates.

For starters., there is no dSthree nor will there be. The 3ds is not infact hacked to use rom cards... let me explain... the gateway isnt really a rom cart.. not really. it runs a game off an sd .. i'll give it that. but! - you can only put 1 game per sd card. - you must extract the save from the onboard ram chip or it corrupts your save if you eject the sd. - its using a patchable exploit... which means nintendo can patch it. AND HAS PATCHED IT ALREADY. So.... no more cart use... paid for nothing really. i mean the list goes on... no modder in Australia will touch it and many Countries are the same.. it's a 100% illegal device. The other rom carts for the ds are covered by "homebrew" laws cause they patch dldi to run unsigned code. This "gateway" does not. It runs 1 - 1 copies of signed nintendo software. Making it illegal in all countries.
